When you pay
Only when a referral closes and the fee is paid
Referral fees typically range from 25–50%, are agreed in writing with the receiving agent before the referral, and are paid through the brokerage at closing.
Illustrative
What a closed referral could look like
Say the commission on a closed sale is $10,000 and you agreed on a 25% referral with the receiving agent. Your referral share is $2,500. Lehmann Referral Realty keeps its 15% broker fee ($375), and you keep $2,125. Referral fees typically range from 25–50% and are agreed in writing with the receiving agent before the referral. This is an example to show the math, not a promise of any fee or deal.
Are we the cheapest? Not always.
Some referral companies charge a yearly fee and take a smaller cut. If you close several referrals a year, one of those can cost you less than we do. If you close one or none, paying nothing up front usually wins. Pick what fits you. What you get here is a local broker you can call, agents I know in Delray Beach and Palm Beach County to send clients to, and a door back to full-time sales if you want it.
Other costs to know about
You still pay the state for your license renewal and your own renewal courses. Those go to the state and your school, not to us.
